Based in Fort Mill, South Carolina, Carolina Care Mobility is a fast-growing non-emergency medical transportation provider serving both local and long-distance needs across North and South Carolina. Founded by Dr. Ade Ekundayo, a respected scholar and accomplished entrepreneur, Carolina Care Mobility was established in response to the rapid demographic shifts occurring in the Carolinas. Dr. Ekundayo recognized the increasing demand for senior support services driven by the aging Baby Boomer generation, longer life expectancies, and a steady stream of retirees relocating to the region.
In North Carolina, seniors age 65 and older currently make up approximately 18% of the population, a figure expected to rise significantly in the coming years. By 2030–2031, the state is projected to have more seniors than children under 18. South Carolina mirrors this trend, with projections showing that more than 27% of its population will be age 60 or older by 2030, representing a 37% increase from previous years.
Recognizing that accessible transportation is essential to maintaining seniors’ independence and quality of life, Carolina Care Mobility is committed to supporting older adults, healthcare facilities, and community partners. Unlike standard curb-to-curb providers, Carolina Care Mobility offers door-through-door assistance. Our trained staff safely escort clients from their residence or facility into clean, comfortable, ADA-compliant vehicles. Upon arrival at their destination, clients are accompanied all the way to check-in, ensuring a seamless and supportive transportation experience.

We are continuously striving to implement effective strategies for enhanced training, integrated technologies, and managerial support and communication. Because we provide local and long-distance transportation, effective planning and communication between dispatch and key facilities is paramount.
We continuously work on enhancing our scheduling and traffic management in an effort to reduce travel and wait times while increasing efficiency. We work to adapt and implement policies and procedures to support our mission, to analyze and advise on transportation issues, evaluate scheduling conflicts, negotiate and correspond with carriers, vendors, and strategic partners.
Dispatchers will receive extensive instruction on using our technological integration systems designed to support our growing scheduling and logistical demands. Dispatchers are responsible for the following:
- Customer intake
- Preparation of daily schedules and trip manifests
- Effective driver management and scheduling
- Trip management and oversight
- Coordination with facility personnel
